☆ Twinkle twinkle little stars ☆

A few weeks ago I built up the courage and went to a ballet class after almost 10 years of missing in action. As much as I enjoyed it, it also made me feel a little ... depressed! I felt like a little failure having let go and losing sight of all my glittering dreams & passion from when I was younger! It's almost as if I've betrayed the mini-me.


If I could tell little Jay something now, I'd tell her to not worry and just keep spinning in her little pink tutu.
I'd also tell the 12 year old me to not be so arrogant to think that even if I stopped playing piano then I would get back into it easily because the 23 year old self at present is finding it extremely difficult, annoying and frustrating. If a 12 year old can read a piece of music and make her fingers glide ... surely an older version could as well? I'm gonna keep trying, wish me luck.

Brr...

The weather has suddenly gone cold (although there has been some signs of the sun lately). This time last year was a lot warmer & no need for tights just yet! Anyone else hates waking up in the dark & cold? I've had to bring out my cosy Laura Ashley bedspread to keep warm!



I know its a clash of florals I usually use this on plain beddings but its been so cold lately and it's just so snuggly and warm (ah I love sleep!) ... I have to literally peeeeel myself off in the morning!! As you can see mr. patch loves a bit of warmth & schnuggles too!

I've recently moved back home so been trying to unpack things and find a place for them (fitting a whole house into a bedroom is just impossible!) so I'll do a bedroom post soon! With a lot on my mind recently I've been lazy with outfits & make up & hair :(

Is there something you want/need to do but finding it difficult ie lack of motivation? I find that with myself almost DAILY! need more time / less hours at work?? Also show me your bed / bedroom & comment!! Would love to have a nose ;)

Can't go wrong with a £3 dress from reduction line in Primark! Love that it's versatile and will go with practically anything!! Also the fact it is slightly vintagey with the A-line skirt bit. It would look great with cute white lace ankle socks & shoes!
